Problem Solver

Mom, do you know what a problem solver is?" Mom "um hum". "yeah I'm starting to be one, I'm starting to do it all the time".

Dad: "Jaidyn look, there's donkey's" (as we're on our way to Las Vegas). Jaidyn half asleep responds "where are they up in the trees?" Dad "Jaidyn don't you know what a donkey is?" Jaidyn "no, but are they dangerous?"

"Mom you and me are a lot of like. We say hello when we answer the telephone, we talk alike and we look alike. But my hairy legs I got from my dad".

Mom: "Jaidyn you have a heart just like your grandma and grandpa waters" Jaidyn:"but I don't want to have a heart like theirs because they're always having problems with theirs."

"Mom does this have hydrogenated oils?" (Our health minded daughter this is a question she always asks when we're shopping)

"Mom I'm not going to get married, I'm just going to live with you and daddy and be a foster mom."

(After witnessing two teenagers kissing next to a car near grandma's house.) "mom, I'm never going to kiss a boy. Only daddy, because he raised me." Mom, "jaidyn do you even know what raised means?" Jaidyn "yeah, it means someone who loves you and takes care of you forever."

Jaidyn "mom, you still have a lot of growing up to do" mom "why would you say that", Jaidyn "well because you don't even know who Heavenly Father's parents are, so that means you don't know everything." (I guess she's on to me)
